WHO CAN REGISTER TO VOTE?

You can register to vote and vote if you are:

A United States citizen;
A resident of California;
At least 18 years of age or older on or before the next Election Day;
Not currently imprisoned or on parole for the conviction of a felony; and
Not found mentally incompetent by a court of law.
WHAT IS THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER?
To vote at your polling place on Election Day, or to receive your ballot in the mail, you must register no less than 15 days before the election.

After the 15 day deadline, eligible voters who have not registered may still vote by registering and casting a provisional ballot at the Elections Division.
